Car Insurance?
I have a question, I was at the store the other day and came out to discover that a shopping cart had hit my car, It was a HUGE dent in the door, I asked the store manager and they said they weren't responsible for it, and that it was at my own risk parking my car in a public parking lot, So i called my Insurance Agency (progressive) and told them the incident and i wanted to get it fixed, They told me i didn't have collision Insurance and that it wasn't covered. So Basically What do i do? How do i get this large dent fixed? P.S. This Just isn't my day, lol

- Basically, I hate to put it to ya this way, but you have to pay out of pocket to fix it. :( Most people don't know that simple dents can't be fixed/paid for by insurance companies without collision insurance! Your best bet is to ADD collosion insurance, its usually only a few dollars more, I know here in Kentucky, with SafeAuto, its only $6 more for my collision coverage. I'd add it and then call them and say that you got a dent etc... and you'd like it fixed. but, the only thing with that is, by the time you pay your deductable to get it fixed, you could have paid a collision company or dealership to fix it for the same price or probobly cheaper!! usually with dents, they just use a suction cup thingy to even it out!!
- no collision you pay , sorry, next time pay for the collision , well you can go after the store but tell them and they may come to your rescue, lol
