  1. Get a quote from E car on line.
  2. I have
  3. From my experience with the car insurance rip off, sorry industry is for your daughter to be a named driver, or do what everyone else is doing and move abroad.
  4. Put her on your insurance as a named driver, as a temporary solution.
  5. I had the same trouble. No matter how good your daughters driving is but these Insurance companies think otherwise. I bought my daughter a cheap car with low Ins group and got it insured from Churchill......for £800. Now three years on her Ins is down to £400 and she has 3 years no claims now.
  6. Thats nuts!!! When I passed my test I was a 17 year old male and my mum put me on her insurance and it cost her £300. What company are you with? I would look around at other companies, but as its only going to be a case of a couple of months of driving (have you explained that or is that quote for one year?) I am not sure its worth the effort or expense.
  7. We got my ( just turned 19 year old ) daughter an old banger when she was learning to drive at 17, a P reg rover 100, it only cost £400. She got her own insurance as named driver, it was £913 a year third party fire and theft, remember she was still on a provisional licence at the time. After she passed her test she built up a years no claims bonus and bought herself an R reg Ford Ka, her insurance dropped right down to £605 a year and that's fully comp. It might seem like a struggle financially at first but once shes got a years no claims the prices drop dramatically. Thank your lucky stars you haven't got a boy to insure, you'd be looking at £2000 a year !!! We've got two boys with only 2 years between them, I pity our bank balance ! We went through Confused.com the first time, but this year nobody could beat Churchill.
  8. Buy her a bike, I thought young people were supposed to care about the planet.
  9. Try e-car online. My wife saved a fortune with them. I myself could save 50% with them at the end of the month, if I transfer to them. No I don't work for e-car !
  10. The best thing to do is searching on the net. Go for an online quotation, try to visit a cheap car insurance like this http://www.nightbirdssolutions.com to compare prices of different car insurance companies. Collect and select the best one for you.
  11. No doubt the easiest way to get insurance quotes is on the web. Why would you waste your time on the phone calling around? the last time i needed quotes on insurance i used one of these comparison sites and it was great. this is the site i used and it was quick like less than 5 mins. The last thing I want to do is listen to elevator music while waiting for a salesman. Anyway I got good quotes and ended up saving money so I was happy. So shop around and compare quotes which is easy on the net. Good starting point is at this site. http://insurance.deal4-you.com Good luck.
