Car insurance?

I am about to buy a car and I am wanting a Chevorlet Cobalt. From what I know my insurance would raise up because a Cobalt is a Sport Car. Does anyone know if it would raise up? And if so, can you please give me a website to look at about estimated car insurance? Thank you

1. raise up from what? depends on what you currently drive. if you drive a '78 pinto, yes... premiums will rise. if you drive a corvette now, your premiums will go down.

4. you can go to any website and get an insurance quote. Im assuming you will be financing your new car. If you go with a sports car, yes the insurance will be higher. 6. I can't imagine a chevy cobalt being a sports car. Because it's so inexpensive, the insurance should be cheap on it.
