what things should i look for in car insurance? and what exactly is a car insurance bond? any scams i should look out for? any good reasonable car insurance rates?

  2. First thing you should look for is someone that will take time with you to make sure that you are properly covered for your needs. A Car Insurance Bond is available in some states as a cost effective way of managing insurance, yet in most cases they are the same price and will only pay out on one accident. Only scam is, make sure that when you are getting quotes it is the same coverage. A lot of companies will pay out higher for whoever you hit, than what they will pay out for you if the other guy has no insurance. Walk into an agency and speak with an agent. Get a physical quote from him, and then call around and have those companies match that coverage. It may be that one company doesn't offer rental car at $30/day but at $25/day. There will be differences, but for the most part you will be comparing same coverages
