Car Insurance?

I drove my friends car he has liability insurance. I have full coverage insurance on my car. I got hit by a guy without insurance. Will my insurance cover my friends car I was driving because the other guys car is not going to be paying for anything. Thanks.

1. try progressive,but call them they hooked me up better than all the major companies,no 1 could even cone with in 100 buck of their price 4 me,on line they will give u actual quotes from other companies.
2. Check your agent, you may have coverage on a vehicle you are driving on a temporary basis.
3. You know what? Insurance follows the vehicle and I guarantee you your friend has uninsured motorist coverage under his liability policy. You can even claim injury and collect under his U.M. coverage. It will not cause a rate increase for him IF he gave you permission to drive. Your insurance is considered secondary IF your friend's policy decides not to cover the loss for whatever reason.
4. Insurance on the vehicle is primary. Your insurance pays the excess if the claim is higher than the limits of the primary policy.
