north carolina and auto insurance and tickets?
ok me and my husband live in nc and will move to hawaii in a few weeks. he has gotten 3 tickets within the past yr and a half. 1 speeding on post- paid, running red light on post-paid, and today he made what an mp called an illegal pass after his buddy told him to since he had a navigation. it was in a neighborhood off post but owned by the post and the mps here are extreme jerks made him do a breath test even though noone had any alcohol and he yelled at him for not breathing right and then for breathing too hard?! i have no tickets but now he has 3 he wants to fight this one he got today but in nc how many before auto insurance is affected? we have state farm and luckily nothing yet but will this put us over the limit? and when we go to hawaii and switch to hawaii insurance will it carry over?

- Only your insurance company can answer your question accurately. Yes, your record will follow no matter what state you are in.
- The tickets will follow you to HI. Now, for the other part of your question, it all depends on how long you have been with the company, which company (level) of SF you are in, how far apart the tickets are spaced, are there any other accidents or losses on your (and his) record, among a few other things. Chances are if you are the Mutual level and there is nothing else in the household (accidents or losses), you'll be fine. It may disqualify some discounts though. Call and talk to your agent - they will better be able to inform you with rules specific to your situation and state. Good Luck - and enjoy Hawaii!!
