geico or progressive auto insirance?

Has anyone switched from geico to progressive auto insurance? - please share your progressive pros and cons, especially if you had to file a claim.

1. You should try progressive, I have geico insurance right now but I am about to change it to a differ company as soon as the contract is up. Geico's serves is really bad, their phone servers was not helpful to me at all when I needed it. Also I am being overcharge by them on my motorcycle insurance -_-
2. I would not recommend either company. You may be better off dealing with an "Independent Agent". An independent agent works for you, and has no real allegiance to any specific insurance company. They deal with many different insurance companies, and in so doing can find you the best coverage at the lowest premiums. They can be found in your telephone "Yellow Pages".
3. No, but I did switch from Progressive to Geico and my premium went up. Now I have esurance which is the smartest thing I have done as far as getting a policy.
