Has someone had personal experience with Progressive Auto Insurance?

I have gotten several car insurance quotes. Progressive is one of the lowest. But the lowest does not always equal the best service when an accident happens. Thank you for your answers.

1. I have used progressive many times,and to me they are one of the best.Never had any problems with them,as i have with a couple of other insurance companys.
2. I have everything insured with Progressive, I have never had any issues.
3. i was personally insured with them for about a year. then my daughter and i moved to another state and she was about to go get her permit. i called to ask them their underwriting guidlines for inexperienced drivers. i was told it was fine and she would not be rated until she had her full license. within 2 weeks i got a cancellation notice from them due to my daughter being inexperienced. i lef them and will not go back. i am an insurance agent in NC and i actually have shops here that will NOT work on claims for Progressive due to the fact they are so hard to deal with. Customer service and claims service really can vary from area to area, but as for me they have left a bad taste in my mouth and in my area I wouldn't recommend them.
