I have Kansas Progressive Auto insurance. Will my insurance drop when I turn 25? And if so approx how much?
Any answers pertaining to age 25 &/or the state of KS is helpful. I can't find anything on Progressive relating to age & insurance rates. Thanks!

- Hi if you have a clear record t would! the best to find out is to call you insurance and get a code as a stranger, and compare with other agencies. Best of luck
- The way Progressive does their rating, there is no way to know. They use over 100 factors that go into the rate (known in the industry as comparative rating & they were the first to do it). Age is only one piece of the rate. The others (major ones there are tons of small ones) are the car, credit score, driving record, other drivers in your household, etc. When you turn 25, if you get a mark on your credit score or driving record, your premium may go up. Also, it is possible that it will stay the same. Like I said, there is really no way to know. If you are curious, if you have an agent, you can ask them to quote you when you turn 25. What they will have to do is "quote driver change" and change your date of birth & quote it. They will just have to "discard" the quote when they are done.
- Hi! Age 25 is a break at the car insurance policy, your rate will drop some, but not much, because there's many fact effect your auto insurance rates. So if you are curious to find out how much the rate would be, you should use those online comparison company to find out the rates for age 25 driver, also try those key fact to lower your rate: 1.Raising your deductible 2.Lower your collision and comprehensive coverage if you drive an used car. So,my suggestion is get a new quote and shop around once you turn age 25. For more information about auto insurance, you can check this site:http://www.carsinsurancetips.com. Hope this help! kity
