What if movers break 50" plasma TV in moving (bubble wrapped by movers) no special insurance taken only basic?
I have taken only basic insurance which pays 60 cents per pound. That is what the moves is offering me (72 dollars for 120 lb weight of TV) The original cost of TV is $1700. But I paid $75 for bubble wrap packing for TV which was packed by movers. Help ASAP if you can please.

- You can still usually file a damage claim with the carrier, even if you don't have insurance on the product
- They will have to pay for the tv and the damage because they have not yet given it too you and you havent signed the paper to say that you have recieved the Tv,, It isnt your responsibilty yet..x. x
- From what i know you have to tell the moving company that you used that something was broken and they have to replace it or you can sue them for damage to personal property.
- Read The Fine Print on the contract they may have limited Liability by your signed agreement
