How much would braces cost with the most basic insurance?

I went to 2 dentists and they both said ill need braces when i turn 13 im about to get to the dentist next week and im worried cuz the economy is bad and stuff and i dont think my parents cant afford to get braces for me..So what would be the price?

1. It depends on how long you need them for, and how well you take care of them. But the average is about 4,000. It can be more or less, it all just depends.
2. I'm not exactly sure. We don't have insurance so we are paying the normal fee. I'm getting braces on Friday (February 6th). The cost for everything (labor, checkups, braces stuff, and expanders for a year after they come off) is about 5000 dollars for 24 months (2 years). Good Luck!
