  1. Where do you live? I sell insurance for Allstate in Illinois and Wisconsin...
  2. Unfortunately, you are at an age with a high accident rate ratio and there is no inexpensive insurance. You have to bite the bullet for a few years.
  3. Try www.progressive.com for a quote. Unfortunately, you will have to pay high premiums because you are considered "high risk" until you are 21 when they will go down and then when you turn 25 they will go down even more, providing you don't have any accidents or speeding tickets, etc. A tip. Get good grades. Sometimes insurance companies give a good student discount. American Family does that I know for sure, inquire. Another tip. Have your parents take out the insurance policy and make them as the primary driver and you as an occasional driver, that will help keep the premium down.
  4. Every company is expensive at your age. If you are under 20 you should drive a car that is valued under $4000 and then don't put comp or collision on the car. That will save you about half. The problem is that you are probably driving a newer car and need full coverage instead of just liability.
  5. Because you have limited driving history - insuring with a respectable company will be pricey! Your best bet to find "cheap" insurance - is to go to a "cheap" insurance broker and see what deals they can get for you. You could try a less respectable company as well - something like brystol west?
  6. Hon, no matter where you go, if you have less than 3 years of driving experience, your rate will be high. It's because you are considered an "inexperienced driver". Just keep driving safely and keep paying your insurance, and after you've reached the 3 year mark, you will see a dramatic increase in your rate (as long as you don't have any accidents or get tickets between now and then). My advice? Get yourself a decent part-time job to help cover your expenses. I did it when I was your age. I didn't like it, but I did it! :)
  7. i dont like suggesting car insurance company to people. i suggest you make a search on the net use sites like this http://www.nightbirdssolutions.com for your search... You can collect car insurance quotes and compare them yourself and see who offers the best and the cheapest for you...
