  1. if u are talking about a nissan skyline then i praise u and u should do it at all costs... uhh first of all u need to consider the registration process... if its a car not common to the US it may have a japanese rserial number which includes dash "-" marks.. when registering it just replace them with zeros
  2. WHAT ARE YOU A DEALER?it takes one hell of a lot to ship that far,if you are providing cars for overseas you had better have 90prcnt of payment if not you are nuts.good luck /
  3. I dont know about the Uk as far as shipping goes. But to Australia it costs Approx au$4000 for shipping then there are taxes based on market value of the vehicle. compliancing, where they change various components on the car to suite the local motor vehicle design rules (they usually make you change the Headlights, muffler, cat converter, and seatbelts. Insurance on imports is usually more expensive than local cars especially if they have turbo (i think the word turbo translates into "double" in isurance lingo). The best thing you can do is go and see each and every people that take care of these tasks and get them to quote you on price. the most important one is the compliancing. the price can vary quite a bit from garage to garage.
  4. Depends on the value of the car. You have to pay shipping, import duty and Vat. An a lesser valued car it can be as much as the car it's self. It's much eaiser to buy a ready imported car. If you are looking to save money then buy from the dockside auctions, failing that a dealer. If you just want a shipping cost then figure £1000 plus.
  5. There are plenty of Japaneese importers in the UK specializing in japan home market cars. Let them do it for you , saves tons and tons of hassle. Buy banzai magazine and look in the back, this is a uk mag for import cars. good luck
