Auto and Car Insurance

I have a 1992 Ford Probe LX. Will it become a classic car in 10-20 years?

I love the design of this car and am the first owner. However, I have already replaced the engine twice and afraid that keeping it will only cost me more money including insurance. If someone (experts, car enthusiats, classic car owners, etc.)can logically convince me that it will become a classic then I'll keep it. Otherwise, I'll sell it.

  1. A classic... I highly doubt it. Maybe in like 100 years or more!
  2. No
  3. Not likely. Your dreaming.
  4. It's not likely. That car was actually built on the same platform as the Mazda MX-6 of the same era. Most of the time, insurance costs will go down as the car ages. If you keep it, do so because it was a car you enjoyed. Otherwise sell it, but at over 10 years old you probably couldn't get much for it.
  5. No. The production is way to high, generally mass production and common platforms killed the classic car era that extends up to the mid 1970's. With few exceptions, but not a probe.
