Is it possible to get short term vehicle insurance with a pending conviction?

  1. Depends what the conviction is for? If it's drink driving or anything similar you will never find a company to take you on.

  3. PENDING? A pending conviction is'nt going to effect your record at all, at least it SHOULDN'T! Once their is a conviction, it is put on your permanent record.

  5. Yes, no problem. The insurers ask if you have any convictions - you haven't, have you? Not yet, anyway. A conviction is only a conviction if you're convicted by the court, I take it you haven't been to court yet. If you mean a pending sentence, that's different; you HAVE been convicted, but they've not yet decided on a sentence. Hope that helps
