1. Sports cars and larger vehicles. SUVs, trucks, things of that nature. Sports cars go fast, insurance comps don't like fast. Bigger vehicles cause more damage in accidents and they don't like that either.
2. Your smaller cars are usually higher. In a SUV you bump the rail you scratch the fender, in a little car you bump the rail, it's totaled. My sis got a hyundaii accent she thought a cheaper car would have cheaper rates, NOT. The insurance agent gave us that example. It makes sense. She paid more for her hyundaii accent insurance (10,000 car) than I did in my Durrango with a hemi (40,000 car). Both good driving records.
3. There are so many factors.... 2 doors, 4 doors, convertable, engine size, price of car, cost and ease of replacement, etc....
