Insuring a contract hire vehicle ?

Thinking of getting a car on personal contract hire over 24 months, just wondering where and who are best to get fully comp insurance for this type of vehicle, I know Direct Line and Norwich union and quite a few others will not insure contract hire vehicles, anyone know who does ?

1. Ask about it where you hire the vehicle. They are best equipped to answer your questions. Usually they come with insurance.
2. You have hit the nail on the head. Insurers stay away from these as they have to be returned in pristine condition. At the end of the period the hire company hit the insurer with loads of little dents etc. You can check the hirer's own insurance but these contracts are usually expensive with high excesses. The easiest way I suggest is to see a broker who will do you a good deal. All the REALLY cheap insurers on the net will only do the "perfect" risk and you will be on the outside looking in at the cheap deals. xxFJ
