car insurance!?
im looking to get a car and insurance on my own is outragous. the question is my mum has her own car with her policy with NIS. on direct line i want my mum to be the main policy holder with me as an additional driver. is this possible for my mum to have 2 policies on 2 different cars?

- If you are the owner of the vehicle you should not try and get someone else to insure it and add you as a named driver to get cheaper premiums, this is called Fronting and is an insurance no no......
- She can have 2 policies, but she MUST NOT put her no claims discount on both cars. This can only go on one vehicle. It will work out cheaper, you should always go with a company where you can earn your own no claims as a named driver. Gocompare.com, Directline.. best places to look
