Auto and Car Insurance

Can someone reccomend an car insurance to cover my vehicle while visiting Mexico?

I have Progressive , but they will only cover 20miles in from the border. We are traveling all the way into Michoacan, so that won't help. I just want to know if someone can refer me to a legitimate car insurance for taking your vehicle into Mexico. Please give me any you know of either by site, or phone number, or even by name and I will look up the rest. Thanks

1. you'll need mexico insurance for that. you can stop and purchase them right at the boarder. the most i've read on a policy that actually covers in mexico is 100 miles into mexico.
2. cathy is correct. you have to get that on the border in Mexico.
3. If you're a AAA member, get your Mexico car insurance at any local office. You can even get a refund for unused coverage if you return before the originally scheduled contract end date.
