What will happen if I go to court this Monday for driving a vehicle without insurance and when I go I still don't have insurance? I was told if I get insurance it will probably be thrown out, but since I don't have it, I wonder what will happen. I want to get like yesterday, but I can't afford it until this Friday which will be after the court date. What are the repercussions? Will I lose my license?

- Tell them you need to get the funds together and ask for a continuation. Your court appointed attorney will advise you.
- Well, even you had insurance now you wouldn't have had it at the time you were stopped and cited, so it's unlikely it would be thrown out. But showing up with insurance in place would tend to show the judge you are being a responsible adult. Likewise showing up and still not having insurance will also show him something, don't you think? I hope you don't plan to drive to court...
