Auto and Car Insurance

Can anyone reccomend an auto insurance to cover my vehicle while visiting Mexico?

I have Progressive , but they will only cover 20miles in from the border. We are traveling all the way into Michoacan, so that won't help. I just want to know if anyone can refer me to a legitimate auto insurance for taking your vehicle into Mexico. Please give me any you know of either by website, or phone number, or even by name and I will look up the rest. Thanks

1. That is the maximum Mexico endorsement I have ever seen & it is very minimal coverage at that. It is not the same coverage as you have when you are in the US anyway so I wouldn't depend very much on it even if you were less than 20 miles from the border. What you can do is purchase Mexican insurance right before you cross the border. This is the best thing to do & is the only place I know of that will provide you the coverage you should have while travelling in Mexico.
2. You didn't say where you were crossing the border, but I know in Arizona, there are places that sell Mexican insurance coverage in every border town on the US side.
