- tesco is not the cheapest, try AA.
- You sound like you are trying to scam the system pal !!! You have done nothing but ask questions relating to insurance paying out etc. Most people dont expect to have a pay out on insurance - preferring to save the no claims bonus. You seem pretty sure that you'll have an accident that is your fault and need paid out in a hurry. If you insure and then have problems all insurers are governed by the Insurance Ombudsman so whats the problem - unless you intend insuring a car for an over inflated value then have an accident to get paid out and buy a better car. If thats your game dont bother - it wont work !!!!!!!!!!!!
- dont believe everything you read you have to make a choice and stick with it all insurers pay out if you make a claim and they mess you about then go to another after give one a try if its no good just move norwich union are pretty good and direct line its a matter of explaining to the company when applying what your looking for and what you expect from them you set the terms its you the one who wants the policy and the main thing to remember is dont crash then you wont have to claim
- I had commercial vehicle insurance with Royal and Sun Alliance. Had an accident which was my fault and my van was written off. The assessor called me the day after the accident and we agreed a settlement figure and I had a cheque in less than two weeks. This was not a cheap policy but that was the kind of service I expected. As with everything you get what you pay for.
- tesco is not the cheapest anymore. i tried to insure my new car with them and they wouldn't insure it unless i got an alarm fitted and they were still £30 more than the AA then. I am 24 and have never had car insurance in my own name so I don't have any no-claims bonus. Confused.com are certainly cheap but I don't know how good they are
- The 'cheapest' insurance will always depend on your age, your driving history, the broker you deal with, the vehicle you want to insure and where you live. What works out cheap for one person, will not be cheap for someone else - insurance quotes are unique. Unfortunately, you will never know how good your insurer is UNTIL you make a claim. I'm with Adrian Flux - when I had to make a claim, I just made one phone-call. They sorted everything out in just 4 weeks, no hassle.
- Check out this article i found http://www.youbigg.com/Car-Insurance.html it has details on different types of plans and information. It always has info on what your asking.
