vehicle insurance question?
does anyone know if car insurance would cover a lightning strike to a vehicle?

- That would be covered under the "Comprehensive" part of the policy.
- If you have Comprehensive coverage (Damage not due to collision), that should cover it. Otherwise you would have to sue God under His Property Damage and Liability (PD&L)coverage or go to your Uninsured Motorist rider to put a lein on Heaven. I'll bet you can find an attorney willing to sue God and declare victory on default.
- Assuming you have comprehensive coverage, yes, it would be covered, less your deductible of course.
- Read your policy. Under Act of God.
- Yes, if you carry comp/coll, it will be covered, less your deductible.
- Lightning strikes should be covered if you carry full coverage auto insurance. This is considered an Act of God claim. You need to call and report the damage to your insurance company. Keep in mind that you will have to pay your deductible.
