Does anyone have progressive auto insurance? I'm thinking about getting progressive auto insurance. If my car broke down on the freeway, will progressive tow your car for free? Do you have to pay extra for roadside service?

progressive insurance auto full coverage? I've had progressive insurance now for an year, I renew every 6 months. However I'm not too happy with the dollar increase every renewal. Is this normal? Progressive Auto Insurance? I got in an accident earlier today. Does Progressive have an accident forgiveness program for the first accident? How fast do they handle claims and do they cover all but $500.00 really if you have the $500.00 deductable?

Progressive Auto Insurance question.? So here's the deal, I live in Michigan, I had PLPD insurance from progressive, I've had them since 2.5 years ago when I got my license up until last Wednesday when the insurance expired and my parents can no longer afford me on their plan (I'm 18 and have 13 pts on my license which got suspended last month) But in January, some kid slid through a stop sign and hit me, the car is technically totaled since the KBB value is less than the cost of repairs. I filed a police report and everything and faxed it to Progressive and now they're saying that they can't get me the $500 that they owe me cuz the kid didn't have insurance at the time of the accident. Here's the catch, the cop took down his insurance info and didn't even write him a ticket for running the stop sign. Progressive is saying that the only thing I can do is take the kid to small claims court and sue him for the $500. I feel like Progressive is just jerking me around, anyone have any insight on this?

Progressive auto insurance accident repairs and do they screw people over and not fix what is damaged? I was in an accident, my car hydroplaned off the road and I spun and hit few concrete barriers while in 4wd drive, also damaging the rear end. I reported the accident to my ins., they contacted me the next morning and told me to drop the jeep off (on 1/22/08) at the Progressive claims building for the estimate & repairs (they did not tell me I could take it to another shop, or get a second opinion. nothing). I told them 4wd is acting funny (I don't know, is it possible 4wd got damaged)? They called me later to tell me that only cosmetic damage was done, and it will be done next week. I looked online & read their estimate. They are using NON-oem parts, I was not informed this nor am I happy about it. I am afraid it will affect my manuf. warranty. Basically what I want to know is: Will it be ok 2 take it to a Jeep dealership for a 2nd opinion after they repair it, or am I going to get screwed over & get a car that doesn't work right; then have no way of proving they didn't fix all damage Response to first question. So, I am thinking progressive has probably started on the repairs. So when I take it to the Jeep dealer(after repairs more likely), they should be able to tell me anything missed and report it to progessive. Then progressive has to fix it, if they don't I should call to report them?

Anybody remember this Progressive Auto Insurance commercial? This commercial really pissed me off. Just thinking about it writing about it right now is starting to piss me off, but I want some opinions so thaat's why I'm asking. It showed this woman at this computer with her ex-boyfriend's voodoo doll body displayed on the monitor and she did al these terrible things to him while he was trying to have fun with another woman at a night club. She burned his foot, and even shrunk his head, totally ruining his chances and sabotatging his success with other women. You don't see the guys ruining a girl's chances with another guy, so I hated, hated, HATED that commercial and I thought it was completely wrong. and it made me madder than hell. Did that commercial upset you to? I hated it. I don't wanna see a guy's chances with another woman be ruined by someone else.

My first bill came in the post charging me $243, i called them asking what is the problem they said they dont know, thats what it came up at when they put it in the system, theres nothing they knew that they could do to rectify the problem. How long does it take for an auto insurance claim to clear you record? I currently have USAA and back in Nov 2005 I hit a piece of tire on I-25. The tire ripped out my wheel well cover and took the electrical system with it. I made a claim that came out to 1K including my deductible. Have you had your car repaired at a Progressive Repair Center? How did they do? I got hit by someone with progressive auto insurance. They took liability and Progressive is going to pay for all of my repair. They are going to have me go to their Progressive Service center, specifically the one in Portland Oregon. I want to make sure they are going to do a good job. Has anyone gotten their car repaired at one of their service centers, or even the one in Portland? Did they do a good job or would I be better off finding my own place to take my car? I would get a lifetime guarantee on the repair from Progressive. Does Progressive really verify your GPA? I applied for a job with Progressive Auto Insurance. On the application I put down a higher GPA than what I really have. Next to the spot where you type in your GPA, it says (will be verified). But I am wondering, do you that is true? Usually colleges don't just release information like that to companies. auto insurance? I recently got Auto insurance thru Progressive on March 23. And They were supposed to withdraw the money directly from the bank according to the agent. I already have my insurance card saying I have it for 6 months starting from March 23 to September 23. But they have not taken any money at all. Auto insurance question - covered or not covered? My friend who lives in CA leased a new car last year under her boyfriend's name and credit but she's the one making payment every month. She then purchased an Auto Insurance from Progressive insurance. They told her that in the event of accident, she and the car will be covered eventhough the car is not under her name as the policy covers both name and the specific car stated in the policy. Is this true? She had an accident once but it was not her fault. The other driver's insurance paid for everything. I was just wondering if she's covered just in case another accident happen in the future. I never heard a case like this. So I don't know how to help her. Please give your opinion. Thank you.

Does anybody have operators insurance as opposed to auto insurance? I dont have a vehicle but i need to be insured as a driver. I cant find any auto insurance places that allow this. I went to Progressive.com and saw they have different plans available...I went with one that looked like it had a bunch of things and was around 94ish dollars a month...couple of questions though What is the average you think I should pay?
