How can I cancel my geico car insurance? I pay for my geico car insurance every six months because I save some money instead of paying monthly. Here is a thing I am going to out of US for 3 months and I do not need insure my car however I already paid for the 6 months. Can I cancel my car insurance and get the rest of money back? Do they have any freezing method for these situations? If I cancel my car insurance, will they charge me some money? How do they calculate this? Need specific answer, Thanks.

USAA car insurance vs. Geico? My husband is in the army, and he has been using USAA car insurance, and I have been using Geico. I financed my new car (2007 Toyota Camry CE 4dr Sedan) in Sep 06. I took my U.S. learner's permit in September and the valid U.S. driver's permit in Nov, 06. My coverage is state minimum and premium is $860-6 month: Bodily injury - $15000/$30000. Property - $25000. Deductible Colision: $500 and Comprehensive $500. Emergency Road Side. Rental Car ($25 per day/$750). I earlier had this with First Acceptance for 1 month then I currently have Geico since last 2 months. I called Geico to tell them that since now I have a valid U.S. driver's license - please decrease my premium. They said I need atleast 3 years U.S. or Canada driver history. Geico Auto Insurance question. Wife totalled car. Can we get tires? My wife totalled her car. Really just the front end but Geico declared it totalled. She is totally fine and so is the person whos car she hit. We paid $700 for our tires 1 year ago. We have waranty ,etc,.. on them. The 2 front ones might be a loss but the backs are good. The ins. adjuster said we could not have them. If its a loss they say we cannot take anything off the vehicle. I also dont like the price they gave us. We have full coverage luckily. Am I entitled to these tires? I dont think they are taken into account in the value of the vehicle. And they should be. If someone has a killer stereo system, rims, etc,.. they just lose all that when an accident happens? Please someone advise me on what to do. Also do I have to accept the amount they are giving me for the vehicle. I know its worth at least $2000 more than they are saying. Thanks in advance for any advice!

They are charging me an arm and a leg after 10+ yrs as a customer, and a good driving record. But the past year I have been 'dinged' several times. Which has cost me a very considerable raise- 75%- in premiums. I am getting good rates from Geico and Progressive. I just got new car insurance through geico. i got 100/300/50 is that good, thanks? paying $125 a month the uninsured is the same as bodily. i live in tallahassee so 50k is plenty for car damage as I rent and my car is paid for and only worth a few grand. I only make 30k a year so 125 is alot to me. I have a dui from 02 that increased it a hair. I ditched the comprehensive. When I can afford more I will upgrade but I was hoping this is good for now. Now I only pay $95 a month ~ where as with Progressive I was paying $150 and they were increasing...
