are all allstate auto insurance agents the same? i've had allstate auto insurance for the 8 years with the same agent... with an unemblemished record and no new cars, why does my premium keep going up? if i go to a different allstate agent, will that make any difference whatsoever?

allstate auto insurance claim question? My leased car was recently keyed. It wasn't very noticeable but still needed to be fixed. I took it to an evaluator/adjuster at allstate and they gave me a check for 900+ dollars to fix the scratch. I still have yet to get it fixed and I've spent the money already. They sent me a notice saying if you do not get the car fixed it will prevent any fullfullment of any future claims and I have to submit paperwork to the dmv about the scratched vehicle. My question is could I just cancel my allstate policy and get a different plan w/o having to produce any paper work that the scratch was fixed? Or would they somehow flag me and prevent me from canceling my plan? P.S. I could probably fix the scratch with wax or scratch remover (really not too bad). Thanks

Auto insurance from Allstate claims accident forgiveness is a lie .....? I had full coverage on my 2004 Liberty Jeep through Allstate. They promised "accident forgiveness" and that my policy would never be cancelled for an accident. I had an accident in August 2006 where my vehicle and another vehicle that hit me (after I lost control of my Jeep on wet roads). I received a letter from Allstate "refusing to renew" my policy in December 2006. What about that "accident forgiveness" they promised me? Before this accident, I had not had an accident in 23 years. Anyone work or ever worked auto insurance claims? I just graduated college and it looks like I'm gonna get a job offer to work auto insurance claims for Allstate Insurance. Then the adjuster told me the damage would cost $1500 to mend, and gave me a written sheet with details on it. He told me to give this to any auto body repair shop of my choice. I had already got one quote from an auto shop - they said $2500. What should I do? I am worried that the quote is really low from the adjuster, and no body shop would do the work for that little. Should I do as the adjuster wanted, and give his quote sheet to another autobody shop, and get them to quote based on that - or should I not mention the adjuster's quote, and get more quotes without it?I just have this instinct that AllState are trying to rip me off!

Can I cash my auto insurance check if I traded in my car, as-is? Some details: the check was made out to both my name and the auto body service I thought I would bring the car to.
